News Flash!! News Flash!! News Flash!! (Red Hand Intel Agency) With imminent doom approaching quickly, the people of the Red Hand needed a moral victory. Hopes that a the new mother launched around the nearby moons, in an effort to save our humanity, have been hampered by repeated construction problems. But today, Commander Stephones, captain of a generation 1 war titan, Stone dog 3, and his wingman, Commander Frier, captain of a generation 3 war titan, Stone Dog 6, have rallied the hopes of our civilization. Seeing moral falling, and with time running out, Commander Stephones fired upon one of Spotilator OO's generation 53 titans that suddenly appeared in the North Patrol sector. Having apparently traveled by means of a TransGate, the Titan, ClanHall5, was in bad shape. It's 12 cannons and 4 shields were down. Commander Stephones took advantage of this situation and began firing. Commander Stephones says he felt it was now or never, with the computers of the titan already beginning to repair the damaged systems. "I only had one chance. It was now or never. If I waited even one turn, they would have started repairs and our efforts would have been wasted. They didn't expect it, coming from such a small foe. They didn't even raise their shields." In the following volley, joined by his wing man, Commander Stephones destroyed the titans shields, freshly repaired, before they could be turned on. With the rest of the Stone Dog regiment and our Crimson Legion allies enroute, it appears only a matter of time before Spotilator must either retreat or be destroyed. Only able to repair at maximum 3 systems, our fighters are destroying 5+ systems a volley. However having just brought online 3 of their cannons, the Stone Dog's are preparing to take some damage. For their bravery and timely success, Z, Lord Captain Commander of the Red Hand, has ordered the new Mother Titan be manned by the crews of Stone Dog 3 and 6. Commander Stephones is promoted to Captain Commander, and Commander Frier is promoted to Lieutenant Commander. The new Mother, with our top scientist and Clan leader, will launch shortly before the Comet hits and should slingshot around the moon in time to resettle the planet, just as radiation levels fall back to safe levels.
