Our clan had been considering a change similar to the one mentioned by Myopia.
However we had considered the reverse of the color scheme, with a large green center and concentric
bands growing outward. Green would be about 50% with progessively thinner circles going out.
The longer legs and range of older titans would mean that they would still be able to reach each other.
Of course the younger clans could then shudder as an elder titan strode through their midst to reach the
other side of the sphere. Actually the current world would not require much change to make this work.
Either expand to the north and east with some orange, blue, and purple. Or slowly change the colors in those
areas as appropriate.

We are still firmly against a restart, but have no vote due to our youth. Yes, we can see advantages in
a restart.

1. Not having any elder clans to fear for one. But later clans will have that fear to deal with. In fact, the thought
that our clan could be wiped out if one or two of our neighbors decided Gen 16 fighters liked the taste of Gen 1
breeders gives this game such life. You never know life until you are facing (perceived) death.

2. Chance to design our first titans right (we didn't realize shields were powered by engines for the first six turns,
so are now modifying our designs to accomodate this little detail.) Actually, newer clans will be making those
design errors that we won't, because only those of us currently playing will have practical design experience from
turn one. One of the joys for me from the current game is correcting my current designs, while still effectively
using the not so well designed ones.

3. The chance to get better colors. Puh-lease. We feel we have great colors and definitely do not want to part with them.
Instead, consider adding an option or command to change clan colors. Allow new clans the option to change colors up to x number
of times, and then having to keep what they have. I.e. five attempts to get something you like. After all, what if you get
lousy colors after the restart...

4. The chance for new alliances. Uh, doesn't everyone have that chance now? Heck, we are still discovering who is fighting
who. While some of the alliances have been around for a long time, those are by choice, not necessity. Movement through out the
sphere seems to be easy enough that upon a restart, old allies should easily find each other and build an alliance again. Diplomacy
is *not* static. You make a few friends and you make a few enemies, and many turns from now, the difference may be hard to determine.
If you don't like your current enemies or allies, make the effort to change them.

5. Uh, well, Elder Monty can't count this high, and we seemed to have forgotten the other arguments for a restart. So instead let me
address a different issue. What about time already invested in this world? I have spent over forty hours of enjoyable thought over this
game. I am not looking forward to seeing this wiped out. Now let us consider the time put in by the seriously elder clans. Years. Most
games never see this kind of devotion, and it speaks volumes as to the nature of this game. Slogs and Gouts, Bear and Titanawk, Cowputts and
Bulimic. Names in a history that will be wiped out that should not be. I do not perceive the option of an Elders area as such a
good solution either. Seems like more headache for God than anything else.

Finally, if a restart is decided, make it quick. Waiting another ten days just to find out if we
have to start all over is not good for the troop morale. I suspect most of the clans that will vote already have.
Give em just another couple of days and then do it. I don't like the thought of spending another ten days of effort
in designs, plans and diplomacy, to all come to nothing. Heck, clan cougar can't live long enough to make it on clan
Myopia's web page with the current deadline. (pun intended) Would be nice to actually see our colors, rather than hearing
about them from a good neighbor...

I intend to continue play no matter how the vote turns out. This will be my last attempt to sway the opposition.
