Let Pride have its say, all comments in this frame come from the Lions mouth...

Turn 325

325, the kings of all they survey

325 : A treaty had been agreed upon, though a loose one that started the war. The land where the four Fallen Pride warriors are lining up and three hexes to the west of that was all the land that was truly in dispute.

Turn 330

330, purpose is born

330 : The first Fallen Pride's aggressive movements toward the Free Wheelers resulted in many self destructs, which gave the Pride a feeling of power, and drove on their war effort later. Fools.

Turn 334

334, Advance to Contact

334 : Unluckily the war with the Free Wheelers started the same turn as the war with Mogwais. Being the Pride's first *real* combat, we based our assessment of the Mogwais forces more on numbers, and so calculated a quick defeat. Fools.

Turn 335

335, CHARGE!

335 : Now that we know we are wrong, a scrambling attempt was made here to reinforce the war fronts and get out of the Mogwais's long range. The southern front was getting hot, and most new troops were sent there. Some new troops, generation 4 I believe were sent south west around the lake to try to stop some of the damage caused by the FW units.

Turn 336

336, things are looking good

336 : The new troops poured into the southern front, and once again were met with a mass of self destruction. More fuel for the Fallen Pride's growing pride and ego. The commando's trying to pincer the FW have met outnumbering resistance. Knowing that they will return the pincer move if not held off, the Pride decided to do what damage it could and loose the warriors.

Turn 337

337, waivering

337 : The north eastern front gone, all troops could be sent into the slipping southern front. Seems even those were not enough. With lack of closer biomass, breeders were coming into range of fire, a dangerous situation for the Pride.

Turn 338

338, The Fall of Pride

338 : The Pride Falls.

Turn 339

339, rout

339 : Valiant warriors of the Fallen Pride stand proudly on the front, refusing to admit defeat while they understood they were there only to provide their clan a few turns to scatter on the winds. Death, they knew would come.

Turn 340

340, Rout

Turn 341

341, ROUT

341 : With the FW still insight, and pursuit beginning with the final death of the Fallen warriors the chase is on.

Turn 342

342, Defeat Complete

342 : Desperate, the Fallen Pride split is clan into three parts. (Later this
came back to haunt the Fallen Pride :)

When the Alliance of the Burning Wheel first started we pledged ever-lasting hate toward the Free Wheelers and pledged to destroy their clan utterly, but that has kind of stopped and a treaty may soon be signed for a cease fire for a while. The reason is that most of the newer clans have the blood lust that will drive them to the top, while the older clans have lost this fool hardy rage.
